adding to switch state icons.gif's

Post by kotam »

How does one go about adding other icons (.gifs) to the selection list of switch states, etc?
Thank you!

There is currently no way to add images to the list of images included in the app, but you can use other images from the phone or tablet gallery using the "Select from external gallery" button.

You welcome.

For this, I use Back Image button, and "Select from external gallery" but my picture doesn't appears...

Hello,
Thanks for your inquiry
The max size for GIF animations is 500000 bytes, bigger images are not displayed.
This limitation does not exist for static images, if it does not appear to you I do not know the reason.
Maybe you could try reducing the size of the image, or convert it to png format.

Regards.

I have not succeeded to add an external gif or png. Even a simple square with only 400bytes did not show.
Any other suggestions Icould try?

Hello Wil

The "Select from external gallery" adds the external image directly to the control properties, but it doesn't add the image to the Suppanel images gallery.

Go to the Android settings >> Applications >> Suppanel >> Permissions and verify that the permission for external storage is enabled
