I'm having a problem when I try to connect to my PLC. I am trying to connect to an Omron NX-102 via a VPN over wifi, however when I test the connection, it crashes with the Android message "Suppanel has stopped working"
Any ideas?
App Crashing
Re: App Crashing
Please use the "Send Feedback" option at least once, when "Suppanel has stopped working" appears, if available.
Then I will receive a report that may help to know where the problem is.

Re: App Crashing
I have already been able to study the report a bit.
When Suppanel tries to register the Ethernet/IP session the PLC returns a transmission length value out of range that causes the Suppanel crash.
Check that there really is an Ethernet/IP slave on the IP and port where you are trying to connect, it seems that the PLC sends data values not according to what is expected in the Ethernet/IP protocol.

Re: App Crashing
Thanks, I had the wrong port entered.
Re: App Crashing
Glad to hear that, I also remind you that I think Omron NX PLCs support OPC UA protocol, also supported by Suppanel, which offers intrinsic security and it can run safely without a VPN
